MATTIE

After years of collaborating with musician friends and playing in Boston, New York City, and Brooklyn, New York, he began to focus more on his own music. Most of his celebrated performances spanned the decade from 2000 - 2010, with his most popular gigs and performances in southeastern, New Hampshire and southern Vermont. 

 

Matt has written, recorded and released two CD’s, “The Long Road of Doris Voxy”(2009) and “Environments”(2014). Both were pre-recorded in Matt’s ever-changing make-shift home studios, and solidified at the former Eastlake Recording Studio in Shelburne Falls, MA. It was there, in collaboration with owner, engineer, producer, musician, mentor and “musical magician” Enoch Jensen, that Matt’s visions became a reality.

 

 “The Long Road of Doris Voxy'' was mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Evren Goknar in the fall of 2009, at Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California. “Environments” was mastered by Enoch Jensen.

 

Completing and recording a host of new songs, while producing original music video content are at the core of what drives Matt’s creativity today. His personal creativity has focused, and remains so, on spending time and scheming adventures with his wife Mary, his son Conor and daughter Molly.
